Fee-free training for Year 12 graduates

From 1 January 2014, Year 12 graduates will be able to access fee-free training in high priority qualifications within the calendar year following the completion of Year 12. The training is available through a range of certificate level III vocational education and training courses, as well as apprenticeships and traineeships.

Certificate 3 Guarantee

The Queensland Government wants more Queenslanders to undertake training in areas where skilled workers are needed.

From 1 July 2013, eligible working age Queenslanders will be entitled to a government subsidy to complete a certificate level III qualification.
