Skills formation strategies

The Skills Formation Strategy Program ended on 30 June 2013. The program was an industry based skills and workforce development initiative funded by the department.

It provided a framework for industries and local communities to work together and with other relevant stakeholders to analyse and address current and future workforce needs, and to develop workforce strategies to address those needs.

The Skills Formation Strategy Program provided invaluable workforce development support for a range of established and emerging Queensland industries at both the regional and industry level. The program funded more than 60 strategies over its 10 years of operation.
